North Carolina Night Hags (NCNH) wants everyone to have fun while feeling safe and included. All participants (players, DMs, and organizers) agree to the following:

Co-create an inclusive, fun and safe environment:

• Participants must conduct themselves in a manner that is conducive to the enjoyment and safety of others at the event.

• Avoid excessively vulgar, sexual, or overly mature language and themes. This includes at the play table and on social media (Facebook, etc.).

• Follow the DMs lead, avoid arguing with the DM or other players over rules.

• Let other players speak, avoid talking over others.

• Avoid distractions that would detract from the game experiences, including excessive cross-talk not relevant to the adventures and extended time on cell phones or tablets.

• Allow other players to get the attention from the DM.

• Discourage any bullying, shaming or intimidating of any NCNH players, DMs or organizers both in person and on social media.

• Avoid phone conversations at the table. If a call must be taken, step away from the table.

• NCNH does not tolerate theft or aggressive behavior.

• Aggressive behavior includes threats of or actual physical aggression, using racial, gender, or cultural slurs against another participant, and otherwise harassing other participants.

• Participants are expected to be respectful of the play space and follow the rules and directions of the store staff or play location.

• To be fair to all players, seats at the table first go those signed up for the session. If open seats are available, there is a first come, first serve policy. If there is a wait list, players with a reservation are given until 15 minutes past the start of the game to arrive and then their seat will be opened to waitlisted players, beginning with the top of the list.

How to deal with a problem or breach of conduct:

• Participants who feel as though they are in an unsafe environment should notify a NCNH organizer or a store employee.

• Participants noticing disruptive behavior should make those responsible for the behavior aware of their actions, or alert the DM or an NCNH organizer for help in doing so.

• The Dungeon Master has the right to ask a disruptive player to leave the table and speak with the organizer.

• The on-site NCNH organizer has the right to remove a disruptive or aggressive player or Dungeon Master from the play area or premises.
